Accommodation found in Akagera National Park
Akagera National Park is located in the Eastern Part of Rwanda and is among the four national parks of Rwanda. We have four Accommodation Facilities in AkageraAKAGERA NATIONAL PARK,RWANDA National Park which are Akagera Game Lodge, Ruzizi Tented Lodge, Magashi Camp, Karenge Bush Camp and three campsites within the Akagera.
Akagera Game Lodge is one of the Accommodation Facilities in Akagera National Park that is known for its savannah adapted plants and animals including big five and many lakes inside the park. Akagera Game lodge has 60 air-conditioned rooms with unsuited bathrooms. It is located in the south of the park, just near the entrance of the park. While staying in Akagera Game Lodge you can access all the main activities in the park namely Boat trip in the Ihema lake, day game drive and night game drive within the park. When looking to stay in the park, Akagera Game lodge is the option for hotels in Akagera National Park or lodge in Akagera National Park.
Ruzizi Tented Lodge is another accommodation in Akagera National Park, this tented lodge is located in the south of the park on the shores of Lake Ihema. This Eco lodge has nine tents for a maximum 20 people. It is hidden in palms and big fruiting trees. All the tents have en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold water.
Magashi camp is a luxury accommodation in the Akagera National park that is located in the north of the Akagera National park on banks of Lake Rwanyakizinga. This camp has 6 spacious tents with clear views on the Rwanyakizinga lake. The Magashi camp has a luxurious lounge, dining, bar and swimming pool.
Karenge Bush Camp is another accommodation in Akagera National Park, it is located in the north of the park with an intimate wilderness experience. It has 6 canvas tents that accommodate 12 people.
Camping is another type of accommodation in the Akagera National Park, there are 3 camping sites within the park namely Shakani campsite which is the only campsite with running water. The Muyumbu and Mutumba campsites are fenced.
