As early as 5am, you will be expected at the starting point for the chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe forest. You will receive a briefing ahead of your chimpanzee trek and after set out into the Nyungwe forest. This is a tropical forest and a home to the Rwanda chimpanzees and 13 other different primate species. You will spot several chimpanzees swinging from one tree branch to another. After the trek, you will exit the forest and head back to your hotel for an early lunch.

After lunch, your driver guide will be waiting to take you on your next activity that is the canopy walk experience in Nyungwe Forest National Park. You will walk on this canopy bridge starting from the Uwinka visitor centre and get to view the forest from the 70m high above the forest. You will later return to your hotel for dinner and another night in the Nyungwe forest.

On waking up; Enjoy your breakfast and later at 8:00 AM hit the road for your transfer to Volcanoes National Park, northwest of Rwanda in Musanze province which is 270km. En route enjoy the spectacular scenery views of the countryside. Your guide will drive you to your hotel. After Lunch, step out for a visit to the Iby’wacu Cultural Village (Gorilla guardian village) where you will learn more about the Rwandan cultural practices. Dinner and Overnight at your Hotel in Musanze.

After a delicious breakfast, head to the Volcanoes National Park headquaters in Kinigi by 7:00 AM; just in time for the morning briefing on the code of conduct when trekking for the mountain gorillas. take on for an unforgetable Gorilla Trekking experience at the Volcanoes National Park, After locating these Majestic creatures, take clear observation of their behavior while taking photographs and videos for this wonderful encounter.

On this day our driver guide will pick you up after breakfast to take you at the Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi for breifing and take You at the starting point of the Golden monkey trekking, after enjoying this adventurous trek you will find your driver guide waiting for you to take You straight at the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund(Ellen De Generes Campus) and to visit and know more about this center whose primaly role is to help in the preservation of mountain gorillas, your driver guide will drop you off to your hotel, end of day 5.

On this day in the morning right after breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from the hotel in Musanze to transfer you to Kigali (2hr30min drive, around 110km) with an option of doing a short city tour while visiting craft shops to shop for gifts and souvenirs or visit the Kigali Genocide memorial, at your preferred time to transfer you to Airport.
