Rise early for your gorilla trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park. After a briefing at the park headquarters, trek through the lush forest to observe a habituated gorilla family. The trek can be challenging, but the reward of seeing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat is truly unforgettable. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Gorilla Guardians Village to learn about local culture and history through interactive performances and demonstrations. Dinner and overnight stay at Tiloreza Volcanoes Ecolodge.

After breakfast, head back to Volcanoes National Park for golden monkey trekking. Trek through the bamboo forests to observe these playful primates as they leap from tree to tree. They are known for their striking orange and golden fur and how agile and lively there are.  After your trek, you will go back to your hotel for lunch and check out before getting transferred back to Kigali. If time allows, visit local markets and handicraft shops before heading to the airport for your departure flight.
