Overview

Experience 3-days tour through Rwanda’s breathtaking landscapes. On Day 1, you will be picked up to start your safari with a visit to the Kigali Genocide memorial, then you will be transferred to Musanze, where you will visit the inspiring Ellen DeGeneres Campus. On Day 2, get ready for an unforgettable experience as you trek to meet the majestic Mountain Gorillas in Mountain Volcanoes National Park, followed by a visit to the vibrant Gorilla Guardians Village, where you will learn about conservation efforts. Itineraries

Day 1: Visit Kigali Genocide memorial and Ellen DeGeneres Campus in Musanze

Start you tour in Kigali where you will be taken to Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial and learn about Rwanda’s history and Resilience. After lunch, transfer to Musanze and check into your accommodation near the Volcanoes National Park. In the afternoon, visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. Explore the exhibits, including a replica of Dian Fossey’s forest cabin and original artifacts from her work and life. Dinner and overnight stay at your accommodation.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking & Visit Gorilla Guardians Village

Rise early for your gorilla trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park. After a briefing at the park headquarters, trek through the lush forest to observe a habituated gorilla family. The trek can be challenging, but the reward of seeing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat is truly unforgettable. Return to your accommodation for lunch. In the afternoon, visit the Gorilla Guardians Village to learn about local culture and history through interactive performances and demonstrations. Dinner and overnight stay at your accommodation.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking & Transfer to Kigali

After breakfast, head back to Volcanoes National Park for golden monkey trekking. Trek through the bamboo forests to observe these playful primates as they leap from tree to tree. After Golden Monkey trek, transfer back to Kigali. If time allows, visit local markets and handicraft shops before heading to the airport for your departure flight.
