Early morning enjoy your breakfast and checkout of the hotel and drive heading to the western province, on your way visit the Royal Palace Museum and Ethnographic Museum in Southern Province and later head for an enroute lunch and refreshments. After lunch you head to Nyungwe National Park for a canopy walk and return in the afternoon for dinner and overnight stay.
At 5:00 AM, you will leave your hotel to explore Nyungwe Forest, famous for its 13 species of primates. Then, you will go to the park for a briefing before starting your chimpanzee trek. You will have one hour to observe the chimpanzees. After the trek, you will have lunch at the hotel. Your driver-guide will then take you back to Kigali, either to your hotel or to airport for your evening flight.
