Itineraries

Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park & Experience Local Community Activities

On Day 1, the driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel, airport, or residence for the 2.5 hours drive to Akagera National Park, with scenic stopovers along the way for photos of the beautiful, winding landscapes. before entering the park, you will engage in local community activities, including a visit to a nearby village to interact with the locals, learn about their culture, and explore traditional crafts. After Entering the Park we will check in the hotel and enjoy a short drive in the park in the evening. then, we will embark on a sunset boat trip on Lake Ihema which offers the opportunity to spot hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and elephants by the water. In the evening, we return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Wildlife Game drive and Transfer Back to Kigali

On Day 2, after a healthy breakfast, you will head out for an exciting full-day wildlife drive through Akagera National Park. This is your chance to spot a variety of wildlife, including the Big Five: Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino, and Buffalo, as well as many species of antelope, zebras, giraffes, and other wild animals in the savannah park. The park’s diverse landscapes offer a truly unique experience for wildlife lovers. After the game drive, we will begin our journey back to Kigali. Upon arrival, we will drop you off at your hotel, airport, or residence, marking the end of your unforgettable experience of Akagera National Park.
