Itineraries

Day 1: Pickup to start your Full Day Rwanda Cultural Tour Experience

Depart Kigali for Nyanza

  • Depart your hotel in Kigali and drive to Nyanza, the former capital of the Rwandan kingdom
  • The drive takes approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes

 Arrive at King’s Palace Museum

  • Upon arrival, you will be accompanied by a guide who will explain the history of the palace
  • Explore the majestic King’s Palace, a glimpse into Rwanda’s regal past
  • See the long-horned Inyambo cattle, descended from the king’s herd, and watch their keepers sing to them
  • Enjoy a performance by the Intore dance troupes showcasing Rwanda’s traditional music and dance
