Nyungwe National Park is the largest mountainous rain forest in central and east Africa and one of the most ancient, dating back to before the Ice Age.
The forest supports over 1025 plant species, and over than 500 species of orchid and giant lobelia. Nyungwe also has 13 species of primates; these include chimpanzees and the Black and White Angolan colobus monkeys.

This will be at 1:00 pm in the afternoon. You will drive through the winding roads through the huge tea fields and get a beautiful view of the hilly green hills that make Rwanda to be called the land of a thousand hills.
