Our 8 days luxury safari package offers unique wildlife experiences in the two most popular National parks in Rwanda “Volcanoes National Park and Akagera National Park,” together with exclusive accommodations situated in stunning natural settings with breathtaking views and premier services. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Kigali city Tour.

Upon your arrival at Kigali international Airport, enjoy a VIP lounge reserved for you while your luggage and travel documents are being handled on your behalf. You will then be taken on a guided city tour by shalom Safaris Driver-guide, where you will visit the Kigali Genocide memorial, get a powerful insight into the country’s past and resilience, after this emotional experience you will have lunch at your accommodation and stay for a restful evening and overnight. Accommodation: The Retreat Kigali. or similar

Day 2: Scenic Transfer to Akagera National Park.

On this day You will be picked up by your driver guide for a scenic drive to Akagera National Park , where You will spend the next 4 days enjoying it’s unique wildlife experience and your carefully selected accommodation. Wilderness Magashi

Day 3&4 : Wilderness Magashi Activities.

On Day 3 & 4, you have time to enjoy activities offerd by Wilderness magashi inside the park including, game drives for spotting Big 5 and sunset boat tour. Accommodation: Wilderness Magashi

Day 5: Scenic helicopter transfer from Akagera National Park to Volcanoes National Park.

Day 5 marks your last day in Akagera National Park. You will embark on a scenic helicopter tour to Wilderness Bisate with a luggage vehicle. Later you will be taken for a visit at the Ellen DeGeneres campus for an insightful visit learning more about some of Gorilla’s behaviors and the conservation efforts dedicated to them, setting the stage for the next day adventure(Gorilla trekking). Accommodation: Wilderness Bisate Lodge

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park.

At 06:30 AM After breakfast, You will be transfered to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters where you will join your group for breifing before starting your Gorilla trekking experience. Later after this experience you will trek back to base to meet your driver guide and He will transfer you back to the lodge. Accommodation: Wilderness Bisate Lodge

Day 7: Second Gorilla Trekking experience.

At 06:30 AM After breakfast, You will be transfered back to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters where you will join your group for breifing before starting your second Gorilla trekking experience, where you will get to visit a different family of Gorillas this time with a different group. Later after this experience you will trek back to base to meet your driver guide and transfer you back to the lodge. Accommodation : Wilderness Bisate Lodge.

Day 8: Golden Monkey Trekking and transfer back to Kigali.

At 06:30 AM After breakfast, You will be transfered to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters where you will join your group for breifing before starting your Golden Monkey trekking experience. Later after this experience you will trek back to base to meet your driver guide who will then drive you to Kigali International Airport for your departure. You are reserved a Meet and Greet on Departure.
