Day 1 takes you to Akagera National Park on a 2.5hours scenic drive from Kigali, once arrived, check-in to your accommodation and later in the afternoon go on a half-game drive to spot different animals in their natural habitat including the iconic Big Five. from there enjoy a sunset boat ride on lake Ihema while viewing more wildlife and different bird species. return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight. Day 2 starts with an early morning full game drive in Akagera National Park, exploring its landscapes where you are most likely to spot the iconic Big Five animals and other wildlife species. After the Safari adventure, check in to another accommodation inside the Park, found in the Northern part of Akagera National Park . Accommodation: Karenge Bush Camp.
Today after breakfast, you will be transferred to Musanze (Volcanoes National Park), once arrived, visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund for Gorilla conservation history and Dian Fossey’s legacy. later check in to your accommodation near the park.
