After breakfast, you’ll take a helicopter transfer from Kigali to the One&Only Gorilla’s Nest in Musanze. This scenic flight will give you a bird’s-eye view of Rwanda’s stunning landscapes. Upon arrival at the resort, check into your luxurious suite and take in the breathtaking views of the Virunga Mountains. Spend the rest of the day relaxing and exploring the resort’s facilities, which include a spa, fitness center, and outdoor pool.

Rise early for your gorilla trekking experience in Volcanoes National Park. After a briefing at the park headquarters, you’ll set out on a trek through the lush forest to observe a habituated gorilla family. The trek can be challenging, but the reward of seeing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat is truly unforgettable. Return to the One&Only Gorilla’s Nest in the afternoon, where you can relax and reflect on your incredible encounter with the gorillas.

Today, you’ll have the opportunity to trek to see the rare and endangered golden monkeys in Volcanoes National Park. These playful primates are a joy to observe as they leap through the bamboo forests. After your golden monkey trekking experience, visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. Learn about Dian Fossey’s groundbreaking research and conservation efforts, and explore the exhibits showcasing her work and life.

After breakfast, take a helicopter transfer from Musanze to Wilderness Magashi Camp in Akagera National Park. This scenic flight will give you a unique perspective of Rwanda’s diverse landscapes. Upon arrival at the camp, check into your luxury tent and take in the stunning views of the park. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the camp and embark on an enjoyable sunset boatride in Lake Ihema enjoying bird watching with over 550 species of birds, including unique species like the Shoebill and the Papyrus Gonolek, and observe aquatic life like hippos, crocodiles, which will be followed by a night game drive to spot nocturnal wildlife.

Rise early for a game drive in Akagera National Park. Spot the Big Five, including lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, and buffaloes, as well as a variety of other wildlife. Return to Wilderness Magashi Camp for relaxation overnight stay and dinner.

On the seventh day of your tour which is also the last, will start with a healthy delicious breakfast before taking a helicopter transfer back to Kigali. Upon your arrival, you have an option to pass by some craft shops for either gifts or souvenir shopping before being transferred to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight.
