Itineraries

Day 1: Scenic Transfer to Akagera & Authentic Local Experiences.

On Day 1 starts with scenic 2.5-hour drive to Akagera National Park, along the way, enjoy stopovers to admire Rwanda’s rolling hills and stunning landscapes, before entering the park you will participate in local community activities including: a visit to nearby village where you will engage with residents, learn about their culture and explore traditional crafts and daily life, upon arrival at the park you will check in to your lodge or camp, followed by a short evening game drive to spot some of the park’s early wildlife activity, Later in the evening you will embark on a peaceful sunset boat safari on Lake Ihema, where you may encounter hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and possibly elephants along the water’s edge. After the boat safari, return to your accommodation to enjoy dinner and an overnight stay, surrounded by the natural beauty of the African wilderness.

Day 2: Full Day Wildlife Game drive and Transfer Back to Kigali.
