Steve Harvey Spotted in Rwanda
US television superstar Steve Harvey met and held talks with President Paul Kagame, after which he said that he was inspired by his strength and humility, as he continues his visit to Rwanda. Steve Harvey’s visit was confirmed on Tuesday, after he visited Kigali Genocide Memorial at Gisozi.
“We had the pleasure of meeting my brother President Kagame, I was truly inspired by his strength and humility,” Steve Harvey wrote on his Instagram after meeting the Head of State in a visit that remains highly private.
The Office of the President said “President Kagame and Steve Harvey discuss different opportunities for partnership and investment in the entertainment industry”.,Their discussions focused on potential areas of investment and partnership in various sectors including events and entertainment,” Urugwiro Village tweeted.
While in Rwanda, Steve Harvey will visit different parts of the country and meet several high profile people while in the country.
The 67-year old comedian, television host, actor, writer, and producer behind famous shows The Steve Harvey Morning Show, Family Feud, Celebrity Family Feud and Family Feud Africa, among others , was seen at Kigali Genocide Memorial in Gisozi on Tuesday, where he went to pay his respects to victims of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
At 67, Steve Harvey is known for hosting shows such as Family Feud, Celebrity Family Feud, and the Miss Universe pageant. He began his career as a stand-up comedian in the 1980s and went on to host Showtime at the Apollo and The Steve Harvey Show.
Harvey has also written books, including the bestseller Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man (2009), which was adapted into a popular film. In his personal life, Harvey has been married three times and has four children, along with three stepchildren.
