Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Nyungwe Forest with Visit to King’s Palace Museum and Canopy Walk and Zipline experience.

Start your day with a scenic transfer from Kigali to Nyungwe National Park, immerse yourself in Rwanda’s rich heritage with a visit to the King’s Palace Museum, you will explore the royal monarchy and cultural traditions with the iconic Inyambo cows. continue to Nyungwe National Park for an unforgettable canopy walk and zipline experience in Nyungwe National Park, offering breathtaking views of the forest up from above. Day 2: Explore Nyungwe: Chimpanzee Trekking & Guided Tea Plantation Tour.

Start your day with a briefing for the exciting chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe National Park, home to Rwanda chimpanzees and 12 other primate species, watch as the chimpanzees swing and interact in their natural habitat. visit the Gisakura tea plantation estate to learn about Rwanda’s tea plantation and harvest. Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park & Visit to the Ellen DeGeneres Campus.

After breakfast, start your day with a scenic drive from Nyungwe National Park to Volcanoes National Park in Musanze, upon arrival settle into your accommodation and enjoy a well-prepared lunch. in the afternoon, visit Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund where you will gain an insight into gorilla conservation efforts and the impactful work being done to protect these majestic creatures. Day 4: Gorilla Trekking experience.

Start your day with an early breakfast before heading to the Volcanoes National Park headquarters for a briefing on guidelines and code of conduct for Gorilla trekking, once you locate the gorillas you are allowed to spend one full hour observing them closely as they play, feed and interact in their natural habitat. Day 5 : Golden Monkey Experience and Visit Gorilla Guardians Village.

After breakfast, your driver guide will take you to Volcanoes National Park headquarters in Kinigi for briefing before you start your Golden Monkey trekking experience in (Volcanoes National Park), enjoy observing these playful primates in their natural habitat, then after visit the Gorilla Guardian Village (Ibyiwacu Cultural Village) to learn about Rwanda’s cultural practices and traditions. Day 6 : Canoeing on Mukungwa River & Transfer to Kigali for Departure.

After Breakfast, you will go for a canoeing Experience in Mukungwa River near the Volcanoes National Park, as you paddle through this river you will enjoy stunning views of the lush green shores and volcanic mountains, there after head to Kigali, visit different craft shops and get transferred to the airport for your departure or to your accommodation in Kigali.
