Itineraries

Day 1: Pickup from Kigali International Airport.

Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be greeted by our friendly and professional driver, who will assist with your luggage. Enjoy the scenic drive as you head towards your accommodation, where you will check in and unwind. After a long journey, relax and enjoy a full board meal. Rest up for the exciting cultural and wildlife adventure that lies ahead in the days to come.

Day 2: Kigali City tour.

After breakfast, your driver-guide will take you on a meaningful journey to Kigali Genocide Memorial Center, where you will gain deep insights into the tragic history of 1994. Next, you will visit the Campaign against Genocide Museum, a place rich in history and resilience. Then after, immerse yourself in nature at the serene Umusambi Village, a safe place for Grey Crowned Cranes that have been rescued, providing a calm and peaceful environment in the beautiful nature of Kigali.

Day 3: Transfer to Nyungwe National Park and Visit King’s Palace Museum.

On day 3 drive to Nyungwe National Park. On the way, stop at the King’s Palace in Nyanza, then visit the Ethnographic National Museum of Rwanda and the Murambi Memorial Site. After that, continue to Nyungwe National Park. By there, enjoy the fresh air and the sounds of the forest. Spend the night at accommodation around Nyungwe National Park.

Day 4: Nature Walk to Kamiranzovu Waterfall, Canopy Walk and Gisakura Tea Plantation Experience.

Start your day by heading to the park office for a short briefing, then start a scenic nature walk through diverse trees, leading you to the stunning Kamiranzovu waterfall, which comes from the Kamiranzovu swamp. Afterwards head to park office at Uwinka overlook for Canopy walkway adventure,walking high above the forest. Next, visit Gisakura tea plantation before driving back to accommodation for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Transfer from Nyungwe to Volcanoes National Park and Visit Ellen DeGeneres Campus.

On Day 5, transfer from Nyungwe National Park to the iconic Volcanoes National Park. Discover the inspiring Ellen DeGeneres campus for Gorilla Conservation history, then unwind with a relaxing overnight stay.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking experience.

After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before embarking on your Gorilla trekking experience. Spend the time with a gorilla family in their natural habitat. then after back to your accommodation for relax, unwind while enjoying the beautiful view of iconic volcanoes  and overnight.

Day 7: Golden Monkey Trekking and Visit to Iby'iwacu Cultural Village(Gorilla Guardians Village)

On day 7 morning, meet your guide for a drive to Volcanoes National Park. Where you will receive a briefing before embarking on the Golden Monkey trek, then explore the lush slopes of the volcanic peaks in search of these rare and playful primates. Then after, visit the Iby’iwacu Cultural Village(Gorilla Guardians Village) to learn about the local traditions and cultures. Return to your accommodation for an overnight stay.

Day 8: Canoeing experience.

On day 8, start with a relaxing canoeing experience, paddling through scenic water and soaking in the peaceful surroundings. Afterward, return to Kigali to enjoy some souvenir shopping, where you can pick up unique local crafts as reminders of your trip, with an experience that stays with you for a lifetime.
