Response Time: Within 1 Business Day
Permit Fee: Permit fees vary depending on the season and permit category. Current rates are: High Season (June to September & December to February): $1,500 (All Visitors). Low Season (November to May): $1,500 (Foreign Visitors), $500 African & African Residents, $200 East African & Residents & Rwandan, The applicable permit fee will be confirmed based on your selected trekking date and eligibility.
Important Information
- Shalom Safaris Rwanda acts as permit booking and travel assistance service. Gorilla trekking permits are issued by the relevant park authorities and are subject to availability.
- Please ensure that all personal information submitted is accurate. Once permit has been issued, changes may not be possible.
- Failure to attend your scheduled gorilla trekking date (no-show) may result in the permit being considered expired and non-refundable, in accordance with the park authority's policies.
- Before purchasing your permit, please read the official Volcanoes National Park Indemnity Agreement.
