Itinerary of 8 days Rwanda cultural, nyungwe, volcanoes and akagera tour

 

Day 1 : Pickup from Kanombe International Airport

This Rwanda cultural, nyungwe, volcanoes and akagera Tour will starts on this day that you will be jetting in at Kigali international airport Kigali. You will bepicked up by our ever on time driver and drive you straight to your hotel. Check in at the Hotel for Overnight and meal plan. (Full Board)

 

Day 2 : Kigali City Tour

After you have done with your breakfast at the hotel, our driver guide will drive you start the day activity which include Kigali Genocide Memorial Center after experiencing the brutality killing of thousands of Rwandan innocent Tutsi in 1994 you will also continuously visit the Rwanda Art Museum, thereafter go for lunch.

After having your lunch, Embark on a drive to the eastern part and visit Reconciliation village whereby the Killers are living in harmony with the survivors of Genocide. Overnight and meal plan (Full Board)

 

Day 3 : Transfer to Nyungwe National Park through King’s palace museum

Rwanda Cultural, Nyungwe, volcanoes and akagera tour package on this day will starts After morning breakfast, Transfer to Nyungwe National Park on the way you will have a stopover to pay a visit to the King’s palace in Nyanza and Rwesero Art gallery thereafter you will proceed to Butare for lunch.

After having lunch before heading straight to Nyungwe National Park please visit National Museum of Rwanda. Then embark on the drive to Nyungwe natural forest.

As you enter the forest you will be welcomed by fresh breeze and many different bird species, the forest is a home to many different types of monkey that found in the Nature of Nyungwe park. Overnight and meal plan. (Full Board)

 

Day 4 : Canopy Walk and Gisakura Culture experience

Have your morning breakfast at the lodge and then drive to the park office at Uwinka overlook for canopy walkways which will take three hours nature walk (in and out of the forest)

thereafter drive back for your lunch at the lodge, in evening hours embark on a drive to Gisakura for experiencing their Unique culture. Then drive to the lodge for Overnight and meal plan. (Full Board)

 

Day 5 : Natural walk to Kamiranzovu WaterFall.

Have breakfast and thereafter proceed to Nyungwe national park headquarters pick up the guide and drive to the starting point to walk into the nature to access waterfall with your guide.

Enjoying the trees of a different types and shrubs before getting to a beautiful waterfall that originate from Kamiranzovu swamp, after wards we will transfer to Musanze City. Overnight and meal plan (Full Board)

 

Day 6 : Gorilla Trekking and Visit Gorilla Veterinary

 Rwanda cultural, nyungwe, volcanoes and akagera Tour will procees after you Have had your early morning breakfast and assemble at the park head offices for registrations and gorilla briefing to follow to visit a Gorilla family.

Relax in the afternoon as we wait for Cocktails, have dinner with Veterinarians from the Mountain Gorilla Veterinary Project, and acknowledge us about ongoing efforts to protect the Mountain Gorillas. Overnight and meal plan (Full Board)

 

Day 7 : Cultural and Historical Tour

Rise up so early in the morning and have your breakfast. Again be pick up by our drive guide drive to volcanoes national park for briefing thereafter embark on the drive to where the hike starts from.

A cultural and historic tour beginning with the Dian Fossey grave situated at  Karisoke research center where she spent over twenty years studying about mountain gorillas until she was killed by the poachers.

On the way to and from Karisoke, through the volcanic peaks of Karisimbi and Bisoke, you may or may not encounter a lot of wildlife. This trek will consume a whole day and then return in the evening to your hotel for lunch after head out to visit Iby’iwacu cultural village.

A village that was formed by ex-poachers after they have gathered together and taught about the importance of conserving the gorillas and its habitat. Overnight and meal plan (Full Board)

 

Day 8 : Golden Monkey Trekking and Departure

Have breakfast at the hotel; head out for golden monkey trekking after come back for lunch at the hotel and then transfer back to Kigali upon arrival drive straight to airport and fly out. End of Service of 8 days Rwanda cultural, nyungwe, volcanoes and akagera tour.
