Itinerary of 5 days rwanda wildlife safariz

 

Day 1 : Transfer to Akagera National Park

You will be picked by our driver guide from your hotel or Airport, who will brief you about this Rwanda wildlife Safari and then you will leave for Akagera National park on the ages of the Tanzanian border. You will check in your hotel room and have lunch.

In the afternoon after lunch from the lodge, you will go for a thrilling boat cruise on the beautiful freshwaters of Lake Ihema where you will be able to view the various water animals for example Hippos, giant crocodiles and a profusion of water birds like the African fish eagle, papyrus Gonolek and the shoebill stork.

Dine and overnight rest at Dereva Hotel or Akagera Game Lodge or Umbrella Pine. end of 1st day Rwanda wildlife safari.

 

Day 2 : Game drive (Rwanda wildlife safari) and transfer back to Kigali

On this second day you will have a morning Rwanda wildlife safari tour through game drive before you return back to Kigali for an overnight. The game will reward you with look at the early risers plus large predators including Lions and Hyenas plus others such as bushbuck, zebra, Elephants, giraffes, Buffaloes, cape elands, impalas, oribi and antelopes.

Return for lunch at the Lodge and then in the afternoon, drive back to Kigali where you will dine and spend the night at Hotel Des Milles Collins, or Hotel Chezlando, or Hotel Okapi, or Kigali Serena Hotel

 

Day 3 : Transfer to Nyungwe Forest National Park

You will leave for Nyungwe National park. You will have stop overs along the way as you visit a number of historical and cultural sites within Butare plus Nyanza. You will as well visit the Old King’s Palace (also known as Old Mwami’s palace) found in Nyanza to have a bit of cultural experience.

Take lunch in the town of Butare and continue with the journey to Nyungwe where you will arrive in the evening. Dine and overnight rest at Gisakura guest House or Nyungwe Forest Lodge.end of 3rd day Rwanda wildlife safari package.

 

Day 4 : Chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe

the Rwanda wildlife safari tour will start after breakfast in the morning, be briefed by the Park Rangers and then eventually begin your trek in the Forest as you look for where the chimpanzees are located.

During the trek, you will have the chance to see various primates such as the Rwenzori colobus, Silver monkey, Chimpanzees, the Grey-cheeked Mangabey, L’Hoests monkey and the Owl-faced monkey. Head back to the lodge where you will rest and have your meals. Overnight rest at Nyungwe Top view Hotel.

 

Day 5 : Return back to Kigali

On the way back to Kigali, you will visit the Botanical gardens along the way, and later arrive in Kigali to your hotel for the overnight or transfer directly to the airport for your departure flight. End of the 5 days Rwanda wildlife safari
