Overview
The 2 Days Rwanda gorilla tour is an exceptional package taking you to Rwanda’s volcanoes national park home to the highest population of mountain gorillas in the Virunga Conservation Area. The tour also entails a city tour to various sites in Kigali such as the genocide memorial sites among others. The tour starts and ends in Rwanda.
On arrival, enjoy your breakfast and proceed to the park headquarters at Kinigi for the briefing by the park warden. At 8:30 am the tour guide will transfer you to the starting point of the gorilla trek.
The gorilla groups are allocated to the guests at random at the park headquarters. However, our experienced guides have over time built a strong relationship with the park wardens. They normally talk to them before time and express the clients’ interests in specific gorilla groups. They normally get a positive response over this.
The trek may last from 1-8 hours depending on the movements of the gentle giants.

Itinerary of 2 days rwanda gorilla tour package
Day 1 : Kigali city tour, transfer to Volcanoes Gorilla park (2-3hrs)
Rwanda Gorilla tour package will start After arriving at the Kigali International airport, you will be welcomed by our driver guide who will take you for a city tour to various sites in the city.
Among the sites you will tour in kigali include Gisozi genocide memorial site, local art and craft market. Have lunch and the transfer to Ruhengeri in the Parc National des Volcans. Dinner and overnight at Mountain gorilla view lodge/Gorilla solution lodge/ Da Vinci gorilla lodge.
Day 2 : Rwanda Gorilla tour adventure
As early as 6:30am, have breakfast and then transfer to the Volcanoes national park headquaters for briefing before Rwanda gorilla tour. At 8:00am you will start to hike into the forest with the lead of an armed guide following specific trails in search of the allocated gorilla family.
After reaching the gorillas, you will spend an hour with and then descend back to the lodge. In the afternoon, go for cultural performance or nature walk. Return for lunch at the lodge / hotel and transfer back to Kigali. Depending on you departure flight schedule, your will be transferred to the airport. End of the Rwanda gorilla tour.

The food may not be sophisticated but benefits from the inclusion of fresh fruit and vegetables. You will find a largely vegetarian diet, although meat is available. The cuisine is largely based around beans, potatoes, sweet potatoes, bananas, and rice.

For cancellations received within 7 calendar days before the scheduled departure date a 100% cancellation fee will be charged
